Figured I start some sort of new post thing where I pretty much just shove my taste/discovery/opinion of music into the ’series of tubes’.
These are basically songs that I have been playing on repeat and love them this week:
Kevin Rudolph featuring Lil Wayne - Let It Rock
- Everyone that knows me, KNOWS I am not a fan or rap (at least not the ones out there today), but this song is pretty awesome, and it really doesn’t have much rap in it cept for Lil Wayne, which I can tolerate most of the time. Great song, go and find it (legally of course) and listen to it. I’d suggest youtube. It is a great upbeat song that just makes you feel alive.
Buckcherry - Don’t Go Away
-Buckcherry is one of my favorite bands, and the fact that it took them this long to get exposed to the mainstream is still a puzzle to me, but I’m not complaining. It has been almost 10 years of them being together to finally get recognized, and they ABSOLUTELY deserve every bit of it. This song is off their upcoming new album and its second single. Great jam filled with emotion. It is similar to a song from their last album (Fifteen), called “Sorry”.
Their new album, Black Butterfly, comes out mid September, go get it !
There are other songs that I have been playing on repeat, but they are not really new or yet to be released tracks so I’ll leave it at that, if not this post would be almost as long as ‘Older Women Part 1″.
